Nice morning about 39 degrees F when I left the house. At about 7:10am, the sun was beginning to think about coming up with a heavy cloud cover making it pretty dark. I had just got Autumn up to highway speed on the 4-lane divided highway near our house and had moved over to the left hand lane to pass some slower mini-vans and suv cages when a hawk jumps to the air from the grass median to my left and just clears my helmet by 5 or 6 feet. Now that will get you to full alert better than any caffine intake I have ever experienced. Yes, I ducked out of reflex!
