Is This What we Have to Look Forward to?

I can't help but wonder that if our government hasn't gotten it right so far, how it is gonna get it right with the new proposed health bill. For those with short memory issues, here is a 2007 article on the health care the U.S. has been providing to our Veterans.

'It Is Just Not Walter Reed' - Soldiers Share Troubling Stories Of Military Health Care Across U.S. By Anne Hull and Dana Priest, Washington Post Staff Writers, Monday, March 5, 2007

Tell me that you can read that article and get excited about getting more government involvement in health care, and I'll call you crazy.

I would much rather trust a drunk, high, voodoo believing witch doctor.

Dear Mr. Madding:

I have gone on record aboit this in great detail. The treatment of wounded soulderiers should be a #1 priority not only in recovery, but in placement for federal jobs or federal job trainig as well.

I don't believe the government needs to get involved in private business. But it does need to reregulate the health insurance industry, which is a verticle silo in siphoning money, and spending damn little of it in the right places.

It should be clear by now, that the insurance companies are not going to step up to the plate. And congress is an assewmbly of whores.

Fondest regards
