The World's Fastest Indian

The World's Fastest Indian is the story of New Zealand's Burt Munro and his 1962 attempt at a world record on a 1920 Indian Motorcycle at the Bonneville Salt Flats. Arriving in the U.S. with a shoe string budget and sleeping in a car, Munro sat a land speed record of 178.971 mph with a 850cc Indian V-twin.

This is an endearing movie that even non-motorcycle enthusiast will enjoy. My family says it is a MUST SEE. This movie is now available for rental and the DVD goes on sale in June. You owe it to yourself to see it. I'm going to have to add it to my collection.

I had an opportunity to watch it on the airplane the other week and didn't. I don't find watching movies on a 6' screen enjoyable, so I wanted to wait until I could get a decent experience out of this flick.
