Dennis Hopper was a true original. I found it difficult to believe that neither he nor Peter Fonda could ride a motorcycle when that movie was filmed. Riding those choppers became an acquired skill. I was also surprise to learn that he and Peter Fonda didn't get along real well either.

Yet he was a great actor, who played a variety of roles well. I really liked him in Blue Velvet.
