It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas

With the myrid of things I miss about living in rural farmland, one of the things I enjoy about living outside the largest city in the south is the city during Thanskgiving and Christmas. Atlanta is beginning to take on all the trimmings for the season.

I wish a very happy Thanksgiving to you, your family and friends and encourage you to stop and consider the things in your life you have to be thankful.

And, I will go ahead and wish you a wonderful Christmas season as well.

Happy holidays to you, too! Although the Christmas decorations and store merchandise started right after Labor Day. I'm serious.

I miss being at home in Georgia for the Holidays. Everyone always made the treck from all over the states to my parents home. Although it was a hassle sometimes having to give up my room for one of the Grandparents, those are cherished memories from those gatherings that I'll never forget.Good food, good people, football in the yard, ballgames on TV, everyone running in and out, bathroom lines, laughing, kidding and great stories.
Happy Thanksgiving

Dear Allen Madding:

The holiday season starts with the carols you hear in your heart, and the smile they bring to your face. Merry Christmas... Happy New Year
