Back in the Saddle Again!

Disclaimer: NO, I didn't not suffer a closed head injury and purchase a sports bike. Relax, breathe in, breathe out.

My buddy Steven Vore had a rather unpleasant experience with the BMW ownership. When the BMW lost a transmission the BMW shop estimated replacement or rebuild at more than the value of the bike, Steven reluctantly sold the bike for parts and was without a ride. It's really the wrong time of the year for not having a bike, and Steven is a round the year motorcycle commuter as well. So, the search ensued.

Today, he found a replacement and is back in the two-wheeled world and a much happier camper. Congrats man! Let the farkle shopping begin :) It already has a Corbin seat, so at least that can be checked off the normal list!

A trany repair costing more than the bike? I’m glad I do my own work. My mechanic never tells me stuff like that;)

Yamaha calls the FZ6 Fazer a multi purpose ride. I suppose if you habitually sit on your tail bone with your feet splayed out it probably does look like a crotch rocket.
And at the Trumpet dealership no less?
